Uranus and its system of Moons. Credit: NASA/JPL
Not long ago I was reading a note on the mysteries of Uranus, the large celestial body. Among its unique characteristics is its spinning movement which is caused by the axis of rotation being tilted sideways.
This odd phenomenon is described as:
“Uranus’s highly tilted axis makes it something of an oddball in our Solar System. The accepted wisdom is that Uranus was knocked on its side by a single large impact, but new research revises our theories of how Uranus became so tilted and also solves fresh mysteries about the position and orbits of its moons.
By using simulations of planetary formation and collisions, it appears that early in its life Uranus experienced a succession of small punches instead of a single knock-out blow. This research has important ramifications on our theories of giant planet formation.
So I got this sudden download of information:
Uranus being the planet of revolutions and the unconventional (think about this body also in astrological terms) is the planet whose electromagnetic charge and movement reverses the duality processes maintained by the other celestial bodies along with the decisions of a collective. You see, all planets have this rotation, even Pluto the planet of Death, but without Uranus, we would not step out of dualistic paradigms, and there would be no body to mirror the revolutions that take place on Earth, any kind of revolution.
Can you imagine the wave of energy that flows within the solar system? Think about this flow, this river of energy, moving from spinning planet to spinning planet, and then when it reaches Uranus, the whole movement changes, and many of the previous processes are reversed. The magnificent reversal of previous decisions in dual realities is happening fast at this time in which Uranus plays a big part in this game.
In astrology, Uranus is described as:
“Uranus brings with it a new way of looking at things, and its approach is best met with an expanded consciousness. Originality, inventions, computers, cutting-edge technologies and future events are all ruled by this planet. Uranus sees no need for the status quo, preferring instead to break with tradition and create a new mold. While the building blocks (science, electricity) are safe here, this planet would rather focus its gaze on a new world order. To that end, rebellion, revolution, dictators, an autonomous state and free will all fall under the aegis of this planet.
No one will ever characterize Uranus as subtle. This is the planet that coaxes erratic and bizarre behavior and byzantine schemes. A bohemian, utopian society is more in keeping with Uranus’s bent, as are humanitarian ideals. Freedom and creativity are important to this planet; Astrology is also within its realm. Lastly, in keeping with its sudden, sometimes violent and often unexpected manner, Uranus rules earthquakes and other natural disasters.”2
“In the chart, the position of Uranus by sign will be shared with other people in the same generation due to the comparatively slow movement of Uranus in the heavens. By house, the position of Uranus shows where individuals look to stir things up, put a new spin on situations, and go against established thought or order. Uranus aspecting other planets in the chart color those energies with some willfulness, quirkiness, and originality. Where we find Uranus in the chart is where we see some refusal to blend in with others (and situations), and some erratic life patterns.”3
If you could choose to be a planet which one would you choose? For sure I would choose Uranus. So that an old game can be lifted. Have sweet Uranian dreams.
